These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the State File Check website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
State File Check is a self-service software tool that validates uploaded CSV files and generates downloadable output files (such as fixed-width TXT layouts) for employer/state reporting workflows.
No filing or consulting: We do not provide legal advice, compliance consulting, or filing/submission services. We do not submit anything to any agency on your behalf.
The Service is priced per processed file as displayed before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers; payment processing is handled by Stripe.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, including a time window and eligibility/abuse-prevention limits.
The Service attempts to validate and generate output files according to published specifications and the rules implemented by the Service. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before submission to any third party.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that an output file will be accepted by any third-party system. Acceptance depends on the receiving system and its rules, which may change over time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, State File Check will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, State File Check’s total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
