This Privacy Policy describes how State File Check (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our Service.

1. Information you provide

• Uploaded files: CSV files you upload for validation and output generation.
• Refund form data: refund reason and optional contact email address, if provided.
• Support communications: emails you send to our support address.

2. Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers. Stripe may collect and process payment information under their policies.

3. How we use information

• To validate your CSV and generate your output file.
• To prevent fraud/abuse (e.g., refund abuse-prevention limits).
• To provide support and improve the Service.

4. Data retention

Uploaded CSV files are processed to produce your output. The Service is designed to avoid long-term storage of your raw uploads beyond what is necessary to process your request. Operational records (such as payments, refund requests, and processing attempts) may be retained for accounting, security, and support purposes.

5. Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, such as with Stripe for payment processing. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
